Ministry Follow-Up, operated by Compassion Innovations LLC, sends optional text notifications to authorized staff members and approved care team volunteers at churches using the platform, who have opted in. Messages are care assignment alerts, follow-up reminders, and related status notifications, and may include a secure link for reviewing an assignment and submitting a report. The program carries no advertising and no fundraising.
Enrollment is voluntary. A person may enroll through their church’s web form or by texting START to the number their church sends from. On the web form, SMS consent is separate from these terms and is presented in a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. The same form can be submitted with that checkbox left unchecked, and the mobile-number field appears only after SMS is selected. SMS consent is not required to use Ministry Follow-Up, to serve on a care team, to receive assignments by another available method, to purchase anything, or to receive church services.
Message frequency varies with assigned care activity. Message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to stop receiving messages; you will receive one confirmation and nothing after it. Reply START to enroll again. Reply HELP for help, or contact contact us. Because one sender serves every church on Ministry Follow-Up, STOP stops messages from the platform rather than from a single church.
Mobile information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See the SMS Privacy Policy for how it is handled. Care assignments are confidential: do not forward an assignment message or its private link, and tell a care leader promptly if one reaches you in error.
You must be an authorized staff member or approved care team volunteer at a church using Ministry Follow-Up, and you must use your own mobile number. Enrollment is recorded for the church you serve and is not consent for any other church.
These terms may be updated as the program changes. The effective date above identifies the current version, and continued enrollment after a material update may require renewed consent.
