This notice explains how Compassion Innovations LLC handles information connected to optional Ministry Follow-Up text notifications.
When an approved care-team member saves a communication preference, we collect their name, email address, selection, decision date, and the version of the SMS disclosure shown. We collect a mobile number only when the person voluntarily selects SMS on the public web form. Ministry Follow-Up also records consent and delivery activity needed to operate and troubleshoot assignment notifications.
We use this information to verify care-team eligibility, honor the person’s SMS choice, send recurring transactional care assignments and reminders only after opt-in, maintain consent records, protect care information, and respond to support requests. Message frequency varies according to assigned care-request activity. Msg & data rates may apply.
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and consent records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent this information. We may provide limited information to service providers, including Twilio, only as necessary to deliver, secure, and support the messaging service. Those providers may not use it for their own marketing.
SMS consent applies only to recurring transactional care-assignment alerts fromMinistry Follow-Up. We do not obtain consent from purchased lists, another organization, or a third party, and we do not transfer consent between campaigns.
Text notifications contain limited assignment information and a private link. Authorized recipients must not forward that link. Detailed care information remains within protected Ministry Follow-Up workflows. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and retain consent and delivery records as needed for accountability, compliance, and support.
You may submit the communication-preference form with the optional SMS checkbox left unchecked. If enrolled, reply STOP to any message to opt out or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at info@ministryfollowup.com. Declining or opting out of SMS does not remove you from the care team; coordinators may use another authorized communication method.
